Pediatrics

Pediatrics at Bristol Medical CenterOur History
Since 1963, our Pediatric Department has been providing friendly and convenient full-service quality health care for the pediatric community.

WELCOME
We see patients in the office Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. Our office staff is well trained to present your questions and concerns to a doctor and in turn relay his/her answers back to you. If you would like your question directed to a specific physician please advise the staff at the time of your call.  Telephone hours are 8:30am - 12pm and 1pm to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Effective October 4, 2025, MARI Pediatrics will no longer have Saturday office hours, for well or sick visits. For urgent concerns, the on-call doctor can be reached through the answering service. You may also bring your child to an appropriate urgent care. The walk-in at our office is for ADULTS only and will not see children. Local urgent cares include Brown University Health Urgent Care at 1360 West Main Road, Middletown for children 18 months and older, and SouthCoast Health Urgent Care at 39 Commerce Way, Seekonk, MA for children 6 months and older.

Our vaccine policy can be found here.

What to Do When Sick:
If sick, call as early as possible in the day to make an appointment.  Unfortunately, our walk-in center is staffed by internists not pediatricians and see adults only.

After Hours
If you have a problem after hours, please call our office. The answering service will forward your name and phone number to the doctor on call. You should receive a return call within 60 minutes of leaving your message. If you have not heard from the doctor within that time please call again. In the event of an emergency we recommend you dial 911 or proceed to the Emergency Room. In the unlikely event of a phone malfunction you can reach the answering service directly for urgent problems at 401-276-6700

Cancellations
If you are unable to make your appointment please cancel with as much notice as possible so that your time slot may be filled by another patient.  You may be charged for late notification or missing an appointment.
